Conference Background
The electric car technology has gradually become the major direction for global economy development in view of current development of energy technologies, in a bid to solve energy issues and to realize low carbon economy amid the depletion of renewable energy resources. The United States, Japan, Germany, China and other countries have limited fuel car use, and vigorously encourage the development of electric vehicles. As the core component of the electric car, fuel battery has seen great development opportunities as well. Lithium ion battery has gained attention in many countries due to its high specific energy and specific power, less self-discharge, long service life and safety. Lithium ion battery anode materials are well-developed compared to other items. As for commercial applications, graphite carbon materials technologies are quite mature and the market prices are stable. However, with increasingly improving requirement for energy density, power density and safety properties of lithium-ion fuel battery, hard carbon, titanium acid lithium, alloy and other material have become hot topic in research as well.

Despite promising prospect of lithium fuel battery, many programs in China are still at the stage of commissioning operation. There is no significant improvement in demand whatsoever, and traders generally indicated that product shipment was slow. Since March 2011, impacted by pollution issues, lead battery sector also came across all-broad production suspension for regulation; market demand for lithium-ion battery has significantly increased. Additionally, the application of lithium ion rechargeable battery in power energy storage has helped to open up new market.

The Second Market Symposium focuses on related discussion of domestic graphite carbon market for battery industries. Following the success of "2011 Symposium on Carbon Graphite for Batteries Industries", Chinacarbon.cc once again invites you to Zhuhai, Land of Romance, to join “The Second Market Symposium on Carbon Graphite for Battery Industries”, to jointly explore the status quo and future market trend of domestic carbon-graphite products for battery industries, as well as to seek business opportunities and strategies for better development together.

We sincerely look forward to your participation!
